Position Overview 
Virtual Technologies Group is seeking a skilled Service Operations Manager to join our growing team! The Service Operations Manager leads operational execution across service delivery, revenue alignment, and strategic initiatives. Sitting at the intersection of process optimization, performance tracking, and technology enablement, this role ensures streamlined operations that elevate customer experience and support scalable growth. 
 
 
Day-To-Day Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate cross-team processes and initiatives to unify VTG’s services division, which includes Operations (Warehouse/Fulfillment Center), Help Desk, Field Services, and internal IT and App Dev Teams. Work in conjunction with other divisions such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Professional Services, and HR/People Team 

  • Develop and manage KPIs, dashboards, and operational reports to inform strategic decisions 

  • Optimize workflows for service delivery, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration 

  • Manage platforms critical to operational alignment (Ticketing systems, ConnectWise, Rev.io, analytics, etc.) 

  • Partner with executive leadership in planning, budgeting, vendor management, and project execution and reporting 

  • Facilitate communication between business units, vendors, and technology teams to drive business results 

 
Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Operations Management, or related field 

  • 5–8 years of experience in operations, project management, or business analysis in a technology services driven environment 

  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., NetSuite, HubSpot), project management platforms (e.g., Asana, Jira), as well as ticketing systems (e.g., ConnectWise, Zendesk) 

  • Strong analytical skills and data fluency, with experience in data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau 

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills 

  • High level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • PMP Certification 

  • Experience managing cross-functional strategic initiatives and vendor relationships 

  • Familiarity with customer support and customer success platforms and service delivery tools 

  • Exposure to budget planning and performance forecasting within a technology-focused organization
