support stable, secure, and performant systems.

Position Description: 
Quotient is seeking a full-time Key Accounts Project Manager to support our project teams. As a Key Accounts Project Manager, you will be leading a team of 35 Developers, DevOps Specialists, and other Consultants in support of over 40 projects - most of which are for government clients. You will report directly to the VP of Technology Solutions and will work closely with our team to help maintain our high-level of customer satisfaction across many different projects.

Our team supports a variety of technology-driven projects from public facing websites, applications, and APIs to large-scale multi terabyte data repositories. Collectively, our work supports millions of requests every second from users around the world!

Job Responsibilities Overview:

As a Key Accounts Project Manager you will be focused on ensuring successful project performance by tracking customer (and employee!) satisfaction, managing project budgets, and by addressing risks and issues. This position takes a leading role in partnering with Quotient’s Leadership, Finance, HR, and Recruiting teams to collect and report on data that allows us to scale our team to better support customers needs and projects.

Key job functions include: 

  • Project Management: 
    • Own the entire project life cycle; take ownership of projects and ensure successful project completion (project completed on-time, within budget, within scope, and with high customer satisfaction)
    • Review and understand stakeholder objectives and liaise with project teams to review progress and alignment on objectives
    • Manage scheduling and resource allocation to ensure projects are being completed on time and within scope
    • Oversee the project’s major phases, ensuring everyone is meeting technical standards and deadlines
    • Keep all stakeholders in the loop about project progress and any issues that pop up
  • Customer Success: Meet directly with customers to assess our team’s performance throughout the project lifecycle. Mitigate issues, identify and implement solutions that are a win-win for us and our clients, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Business Development: Meet with the Business Development team weekly to support organic growth within existing projects and customers
  • Leadership: 
    • Be accountable for the project team and identify opportunities to mentor, train, and improve team members. This includes mentoring project leads on how to best lead and support their project teams
    • Advocate for and represent the needs of the team to senior leadership. Work to ensure a high level of job satisfaction for our project teams
    • Oversee annual performance evaluations for the product team and conduct evaluations and check-ins as needed
    • Work with our HR & Recruiting teams to ensure we have the right people resources in-seat
  • P&L Management: Forecast utilization, manage risks and challenges, monitor the project budget, and make adjustments as needed to ensure project teams are hitting their utilization and budget targets
  • Planning & Scheduling: 
    • Create detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessment
    • Allocate and delegate tasks among the team and set deadlines with a focus on creating a smooth, efficient workflow
  • Brainstorming & Collaboration: 
    • Huddle with technical teams early on and regularly to outline and align on project scope and objectives
    • Work with other project managers and team leaders to ensure project objectives are met through cooperative efforts
    • Translate technical details into general terms that all stakeholders can understand
Location & Work Environment: 
This position will require in-person attendance at our Columbia, MD office, but offers a flexible schedule and hybrid work environment. You’ll be working with hybrid teams across multiple time zones.
 

Position Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum five (5) years of project management experience, specifically working on IT security projects. Candidates should have demonstrated ability to plan, execute and close projects on time, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction
  • Proven experience managing government contracts and projects, preferably in an IT or security context
  • Minimum two (2) years experience leading a technical team as a Senior Project Leader
  • Strong understanding of IT frameworks and standards - the ability to walk the walk and talk the talk with stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem solving abilities and analytical thinking skills, with the capacity to assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Candidate must possess valid, active government Security Clearance and have the ability to maintain this clearance
  • Upon an offer of employment, this job requires successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen
